The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, cutlery and crockery, cooking utensils, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities.
The unit has a dining area that opens onto a private garden with braai facilities, as well as a covered, safe area for pets. A TV with a full selection of DStv channels, as well as Wi-Fi access, is available in the lounge.
Guests have use of the communal swimming pool, and secure, undercover parking is available. Dogs, smaller than knee height, are welcome with prior arrangement, and a pet pack with a water bowl and a food bowl, as well as a sleeping basket, will be provided. Please note, that the owner's dogs are also on the premises, and Kraai Huis does not have a view of the dam.
Gariepdam offers various restaurants, as well as activities at the dam such as canoeing, and fishing. Guests can also go mountain biking, hiking, bird watching, or game watching at the Gariep Dam Nature Reserve.

Kraaihuis is extremely tidy and everything you will possibly need during your visit is there. Garden and pool are well maintained. Would just love to be closer to the dam.
